Ellen's Entertainment offers a lively selection of costumed characters. MOOsie the MOOsical Cow is the favorite of many of our customers. For classic laughs we have Gamey Gorilla (who can dress in a tutu if you like), "Elena NoBraina", or, without the clown makeup, "Ellen McNutt", is the premier comedy singer. On the dark side, we have the Grim Reaper, great for those milestone birthdays! Need some rowdy pirate tunes for your event? Ask for The Dread Pirate Maggie the Mad. Also available are Golda Balloons the Pirate Clown, Madelyn Mouse, Fleeta the Fairy Godmother, Tammy Turtle, Very Big Chicken the Chicken, and Moon Crooner the Cat. Seasonal characters include Midnight Marie the Witch, Mrs. Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

Singing telegrams can be personalized for the recipient and can include simple comedy magic or a few twist balloon creations on request. We can deliver most any message you would like - be it a poem, customized lyric, or whatever your heart desires. If you would like Ellen to write a special song or lyric for your event, she can usually do that for an additional fee.

A typical Singing Telegram lasts 5 to 10 minutes. Longer times can be booked on request. Please be certain that the recipient will be at the specified location at the scheduled time. We cannot wait for the recipient to arrive. Please allow an hour time frame to allow for traffic and other unavoidable scheduling delays. Singing telegrams can be delivered to a home, office, restaurant, place of business, or location of your choice. Always ask permission of the proprietor. Almost always there is not a problem, but make certain in advance so that there is not a problem with the entertainer getting into the premises. This is particularly important in government offices and businesses with security. Likewise, restaurants like to be informed of your entertainment desires.

Every Singing Telegram is delivered with your choice of a box of candy or a multi-colored balloon bouquet appropriate for the occasion. Also included is a certificate honoring the recipient. Prices start at $125 - $150 for local telegrams near Columbia, MD. While we try to keep cost information current on this site, rates may change without notice. Telegram service is provided to areas within a 2 hour drive from our location in Columbia, MD. Travel time is determined soley by Ellen's Entertainment. Travel fees may be added to the total cost. Customization of the telegram may also add to the fee charged.
